Timber Mood Boards: Western Red Cedar

Inspired by a change in the season we have started to put together some mood boards for each of the timber species we offer to help inspire you and your next project.
First up in our timber mood board series is Western Red Cedar. The rich and warm colours of the timber range from pale brown through to a richer dark brown, which pair perfectly with colours of the beach, summer fruits and Parisian cityscapes.
Due to its versatility and natural preservatives, it can be used for both internal and external applications, while its low density offers very good thermal insulation qualities. Western red cedar also delivers impressive acoustic properties.
