The next timber species to feature in our mood board series is Douglas Fir, one of the world's most well-known timbers, which pairs perfectly with grey-blues and off-white neutrals with its light reddish-brown colouring. One of our more durable timbers, this wood is suitable for a range of applications, both external as well as internal.
Fun fact- historically, Douglas Fir was used to build war canoes by ancient Hawaiians.
